Virtual Makeover. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click http://marykay.com/mgunther2Howdo i find makeup sample online?b/c i dont know what skin tone i am:light...dark.i dont wanna buy 40 bases..
just call a local mary kay dealer, she will try several shades on you to see, their foundation is great and really covers well without feeling thick. I have some pimple and it does well covering it. if your able to try several shades you'll find the best match.
Thats easy, You can go to macy and check it out.. .those sells representative can help you pick out the tones that matches with your skin tone... If you don't want to buy it for any reason sure, don't.... but thats the best way... Try benefit brand its pretty good or clinque, of cousre you can also try the expensive brand too... but you don't have to buy unless you want too...

Based on how i look, how should i put on makeup?

i want a 1920s flappers look or a 1960s/70s priscilla presley-ish look. and what can i use to hide my pimples?

http://s85.photobucket.com/albums/k80/ma鈥?/a>Based on how i look, how should i put on makeup?
i would try winged eyeliner. (just apply black eyeliner on the top of your eyelid, make sure you make a straight line from the outter corner of your eye to the inner corner. and the end extend it just a tad. make sure you practice though its hard to get right.) for a priscilla presley look.

try alittle white eyeliner in the bottom lid of your eyes to make them bright and big. (the black eyeliner will make eyes appear smaller.)

pimples are terrible, i hate pimples but we all have them. the best thing to do is, try a deep cleaning cleanser, and make sure you mostiurize (and dont pick at them no matter what, itll make them harder to cover and could create scars eck!)

to cover pimples apply alittle bit of concealer (they have some for acne clearing =] ) directly to the pimple blend then add powder. =]

also i would look into the hairstyles from back then. hair makes the look. and i love priscillas hair.

good luck =]Based on how i look, how should i put on makeup?

on the image i saw I don't think you should cover up anything. You look good!! a simple pimple cover up won't make you any more beautiful. because you already are
Yes it looks you would look better with smother skin.
i suggest using clean and clear morning burst facial wash, then u wont have to hide pimples, cause u wont have any. it worked wonders for me.

i wouldn't go for a foundation shade that is darker than your skin colour and if you use black eyeliner then balance it out with a light coloured eye shadow just underneath. you have a pretty face so i dont think u need alot of make up.
ok well look..........!!!i love doin hair and make-up...well i just seen ur vid...and i realized that ur asian.....well u want to know how u should put on makeup right?....well in the first place...u cant do ur make up like theirs on ur eyes....no offense...i mean it might be possible but it will look kind of awkward....but i have done make up on girls with beautiful eyes like urs and i have done blanding on them....with a pigment white color base and for whatever outfit they are wearing.....i would give them a matching color..but u dont always have to match.....with ur outfit...try looking natural....or a little bronze....thats nice..dont make urself look trashy especially with ur skin color....and i suggest to use lancome makeup....maybe MAC...but i mean for foundation use Lancome...the best foundatin ever!!!in my opinion..but ya try this.....well hope this helps!!!
No offense honey, but with your face... i don't think makeup is gonna help anything.... ever considered plastic surgery??
its the make up not your looks, so go ahead and do any make up, you will look sexy

Does anybody use mac makeup? is it oil or water based?

MAC's pressed powder is magic. I don't use just one product line, but MAC my favorite for powder. Covers and blends without looking cakey, it's amazing. Water-based.

And you can go into the store and the technicians will spend as much time with you as you want, you can try everything in there if you have the time!Does anybody use mac makeup? is it oil or water based?
its THE best makeup and waterbasedDoes anybody use mac makeup? is it oil or water based?
it is water base, i love mac make up , before you purchase the sales rep sits with you and shoe you how to apply the make up and also answer any questions you may have about mac.
i think it is water based.but i dont use it,i use clinique.much better quality.
MAC does not contain oil.
It depends which product you are considering.

You have to take into consideration that mostly all products contain oil, regardless of what the label says. Oil is needed for the 'slip' so the product applies easily to the skin.

I have used MAC for years, but I mainly use them for color choices (gloss, eye shadow, blush, etc). Foundation, I use Color ID by Lancome because it is so light.

Check their site www.maccosmetics.com, you can get more detailed ingredient info. You can also stop by a counter. The artists have a book with all the ingredients for every single MAC product ever made.
I heard mac is good for taking photos but to me it feels very heavy for a day to day use. The eye shadows are pretty good. My skin is oily at the end of the day so it still streaks by the time I get home. Foundation is very matte and I'm sure there are other kinds but I don't like it much.
I dont think it is oil based.
my mom and all the females in my family use mac makeup i am 14 so i dnt use it yet but it isnt really water based or oil unless you buy something that is it just depends on what you buy my mom buys the foundation and that is neither
M.A.C. makeup is water based. And it's the best makeup on the planet. The makeup artist there will help you with everything from foundation, to choosing the right eye shadow for your skin, and even finding a hot lip gloss or lip stick shade. M.A.C. rocks

Which makeup brands in uk do the yellow based foundation for indian skin tones???

I found this which I've heard is very good and also they do free samples so you can find the right match!

    http://www.missbollywood.co.uk/glamx-fou鈥?/a>

Also I've heard that MAC Studio Fix is good for indian skin tones but it's expensive! -

    http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/templates/鈥?/a>

Plus Bobbi Brown is another one you could try - http://www.bobbibrown.co.uk/looks/concea鈥?/a>

You can find MAC and Bobbi Brown in loads of different department stores etc along with loads of other brands that I'm sure do the right colour foundation for you!

Oh and one last one - http://www.prescriptives.com/templates/p鈥?/a>

Prescriptives have over 500 shades of foundation so they pretty much tailor make it just for you!!

Sorry, I seem to only have given expensive options but they tend to have the most variety!!

Hope this helps.Which makeup brands in uk do the yellow based foundation for indian skin tones???
im indian and ive used a lot of expensive brands of foundation, most of the ones already mentioned. Ive found that the best brand in terms of colour, choice, and coverages is Mac. theres all sorts of finishes- from light to full and different types depending on whether your skin is dry/ oily. Its definitely the best brand for women of colour and the consultants are really helpful too. A lot of celebrities wear it and all my indian friends wear it and we're all different shades. try it, i think you'll like it.Which makeup brands in uk do the yellow based foundation for indian skin tones???
I'm not Indian but I know that Virgin Vie do a pink version and a yellowy version of their shades. I use the pink as it suits my skin tone.

Clarins don't do the pink. All of theirs seem to have a yellow base. I quite like their stuff but it is expensive.

Virgin Vie will let you have a sample and most of the make-up counters in Boots and Debenhams will do you a free consultation so that you can see what suits your skins and see how it reacts with your skin before you buy it.

    Good Luck!
I don't know if they do a yellow based foundation, but I'm half bengali, and one of my friends is indian, and another afghan, and we're all using Elizabeth Ardens compact creme foundation at the moment. If you go into a department store, they will use a machine to tell you which shade would be best suited to your skin tone. I definatly recommend you try it. Hope you find what you're looking for. xx
Im a pale-yellow coloured indian and i use Loreal True match in shade N3 or shade W3 (depending on wether its summer or winter). If your slightly darker then id sugegest W5 or N4. They blend amazingly well, have great staying power (last at least 6 hours in sweaty summer) and they dont break the bank either at 拢6.99 a bottle. Its available pretty much everywhere, Boots(拢8.99) , Superdrug (拢6.99), Asda Living (拢6.99) just to name a few.

Heres the link to the shade finder

    http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/de鈥?/a>

I would stay away from Dream matte mousse as they have orange and pink bases which will make your skin look flat and lifeless.

Im 16 HOW MUCH makeup should I use? based on my age?

I've seen girls who are like 13 or 14 years old wearing tons of makeup, and %26amp;know for sure that IT LOOKS REALLY CAKE-Y AND bad...

    soo

    idk

ppl think im younger and YES IT IS ANNOYING!!

    :(

    VERY ANNOYING..

    soo

I'VE ALSO seen girls who are 18 %26amp;dont wear makeup AT ALL!!

i start wearing makeup at 14 I guess...

AND I USED EYELINER on the bottom lids.. I got tired of it and yep i dont use it anymore...

WHAT DO U THINK I NEED?Im 16 HOW MUCH makeup should I use? based on my age?
Mascara does wonders for both your eyes and eyelashes. Depending on what type of mascara you have and what you are looking for in a mascara, it can lengthen, thicken, curl, and give volume to your lashes. It makes you look more wide and awake.

Lip gloss is good also, just make sure you don't put on to much or you will look trashy.

Use these only if you feel you will need it! If you have uneven skin, use foundation to make it more even. If you are pale or want some color to your cheeks, use blush but try not to use it everyday. If you have blemishes, dark circles under eyes, etc. have some concealer in handy.Im 16 HOW MUCH makeup should I use? based on my age?
i think its ok to wear as much makeup as youre comfortable with. although i agree with thinking that 13 year old kids wearing blue eyeshadow, lipstick and foundation is kinda gross.

i started wearing makeup at around 13-14, but it was only a bit of mascara and maybe some $2 lipgloss.

im in my final year of school now, and im probably one of the girls that wears the most makeup in my whole year.

i only like wearing eye makeup though because i like to accentuate my eyes, and ive never liked the look of foundation on me.

i wear eyeshadow, eyeliner on the top lid and mascara. and on days that i look washed out, ill use some pink or peach blush and highlighter.

i think once youre 16 years and over, people dont really care about how much makeup you wear. i think if youre just starting out with makeup, try to highlight your best features instead of painting your face with makeup.

remember only to put the focus on one part of your face. if youre going to do heavy eyes, keep the lips neutral. if you want bright lips, keep the eyes simple.
You know, I think I would vary my my makeup by day.

On Sunday, I would wear no makeup at all,

On Monday, I would wear just a little makeup,

On Tuesday, a little more makeup,

and so on, adding a little bit more makeup each day.

Finally, on Saturday, I would be totally caked out with makeup to the max.

And then on Sunday I would start the cycle over again.

    Why do this?

Well I'd have the satisfaction of knowing that at least for ONE day during the week, I probably wore the PROPER amount of makeup.

    SO THERE!
you are young, why use make-up? It may only make things worse and then it can cause break outs. i have a friend who is 18, and she has a young looking face, but it's very cute and she is beautiful without makeup. there is nothing bad about looking younger. enjoy yourself and act and dress more mature. Make-up may only clog pores and then leave you with pimples and then you will have to use even more make-up to hide it all
it depends on how you look personally,

i'm sixteen too and i can pull off wearing a lot of make up, not a scary amount, but a decent amount

some people say i look younger than my age, but i've pulled off being 19 to the police, and 21 to get into a casino...

    so go figure

oh and if you wear eyeliner on the bottom, make sure to wear it on the top too or else it looks silly

and mascara is even more important than eyeliner

and if you have decent skin to begin with, don't worry about using foundation
I don't know how you look so I can't excalty say.I'm 16 myself. I wear eyeliner, top. Bottom RARE. Eyelashes, blush, lipgloss. Done. Oh, and two foundations. And if you can see in my picture it all comes well together. It doesn't really matter how much you put on, it's how it looks together. Like the younger girls you were talking about probably don't know a thing about makeup and cake it on like whatever,[just like i use to, oh goodness]
I'm 16 and only wear eyeliner/mascara and sometimes blush.

    Thats on a daily basis.

When I'm going out to a party or dinner I'd wear eyeshadow and foundation and rarely powder.

It depends really. Everyone is different.

If you have nice eyes that needs enhancing then wear some eyeliner and mascara.

Or if you have nice pale skin but no natural pink in your cheeks then wear blush. (Unless you want to go for the Bella off twilight look - which is also pretty).

    Like I said, it depends.
As little as possible. It's nice to have pink cheeks and a soft lip color. If you decide to go whole hog, avoid a full make over at a cosmetics counter. They will put on so many products you won't recognize yourself. Maybe have them recommend a blush and lipstick but make it subtle.
    The trick is

is that you should go for natural

I started using makeup since 13

    and people complimented me

and some didnt even realize it was there until i told them

    lol

so use brown liner instead of black

    peach eyeshadow instead bright pinks

soft black mascara instead of eletric blue

    hope this helps:)
    just use a little bit

cuz skin looks waayy better without it

or only put it where you need it

and yea eyeliner and mascara is cute

so thats okay to use too
Try to find a Mary Kay cosmetics consultant. They are much more knowledgeable and not pushy like the sales reps at department stores
Hmmm. I think you should wear what YOU feel comfortable with whether thats having makeup caked on or having no makeup at all.
use little make-up because you are so young. Eye liner, maybe mascara and a little lip gloss or something maybe even some eye shadow but not too much.
Only wear what you think you need.

Find a feature you like the most on your face and highlight/emphasize it.
just use mascara.. and eyeliner.. if u dont like it on the bottom lids try it on the top lid..

i think just mascara would look just fine..
