Why isn't starting a war based on a lie impeachable regardless of the makeup of the houses?

Republicans control both the House %26amp; Senate.

The House initiates the impeachment process and it is tried in the Senate.

It is a political process, it is not a legal process. And, it is highly unlikely either party would impeach their own president (the head of their party).

It's possible, but so is being struck by lightning. Why isn't starting a war based on a lie impeachable regardless of the makeup of the houses?
Because lying isn't illegal, unless under oath, and the president can only be impeached for ';high crimes and misdemeanors.';Why isn't starting a war based on a lie impeachable regardless of the makeup of the houses?
Because the senate and the house gave their okay after looking at the facts themselves,if there is an impeachment, then everyone in washington is to blame
I know how you feel.

I have to teach my kids that there are people who lie to their kids about the President everytime the Mainstream Media screams a new tale.

I have been able to show them that as fast as these come out, they fade away because they are based on hate by people of little or no character.

The problem is, however that these other kids believe those lies and will grow up to vote blind liberal.

Eventually, I tell my children, these young persons will take their false beliefs to the extreme, attack or betray the United States, and make it necessary for the state to eliminate them.

We pray for the children that you are sacrificing to your hate speech.

Thank you for your time.
Because Congress gave their OK.
because people insist on being treated like livestock. moooo
I shudder to think how your children will turn out.

Is there a powder based mineral makeup that doesn't dry out skin?

I currently use Physicians Formula liquid mineral makeup, but I want the convenience of a pressed powder, which they don't carry. They only have face powder that I am aware of. I have tried a few brands that carry pressed powder mineral makeup, but they dry out my combination/oily skin. I don't like loose powder, because it is just too messy. Is there a powder based mineral makeup that doesn't dry out skin?
bare escentuals is the brand...their makeup is all mineralsIs there a powder based mineral makeup that doesn't dry out skin?
The titanium dioxide and bismuth oxychloride are the ingredients that are drying you out. All Mineral makeup has these ingredients.

try christopher drummond beauty (www.christopherdrummond.com), they do not have any of these ingredeints, and are hydrating to the skin. It is also all natural, organic-based and vegan!!!
Most likely not you will have to find a good balance in things mineral make up ingediants are derived from mineral one being ery close to salt which will dry your skin... Or you can always go back to liquid make up idk why it is getting such a bad rap.. LIQUID MAKEUP WILL NOT MAKE EVERYONE BREAK OUT..You should really try its not even bad for your skin thats just what what they want you to think...
that brand is still filled with chemicals. try pure mineral makeup. It is in a powder form, but not messy. At least I have never had problems with that. I get mine on ebay..it is much cheaper and get a whole lot more then brands like bare minerals.

You're really pretty! I think you should use your makeup to draw attention to those beautiful bright blue eyes. I am making a lot of suggestions, so do not feel like you have to do everything I suggest!

1. Use a concealer that matches your skin tone to cover any blemishes or under-eye circles.

2. Apply liquid foundation with a damp cosmetic sponge and blend well. I recommend Maybelline Pure Makeup http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Face/F鈥?/a>

3. Apply a translucent powder to absorb any shine and make your skin look smoother. I recommend L'Oreal Bare Naturale Soft-Focus Mineral Finish http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/de鈥?/a>

4. Use a dark brown eyeliner pen like Maybelline LineStylist in Espresso http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a> to line INSIDE your lashline. Use one finger to hold your lashes out of the way, and line with the other hand.

5. Buy an eyeshadow duo with a pearly and taupe eyeshadow, like L'Oreal Wear Infinite in Sand Dune http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a> Blend the lighter color just under your eyebrows to accentuate their nice shape, and blend the darker color around your eyelids and crease. The brownish tones will complement your blue eyes.

OR

Apply a peach eyeshadow like Urban Decay in Blaze http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a> to your upper lids, just above your lashline. Peach will compliment your eye color and hair color very well.

OR

Apply a thin line of pearly light pink eyeshadow, like CoverGirl Eyeslicks in Tickled Pink http://www.covergirl.com/products/produc鈥?/a> just above your upper lashline. This color will also wonderfully complement your eye color and help define your eyes.

6. Curl your eyelashes, if you want, and apply a dark brown Mascara. I like CoverGirl's LashExact mascara in Black Brown http://www.covergirl.com/products/produc鈥?/a>

7. Apply a peachy blush to your cheekbones (you can find your cheekbones by looking in the mirror and sucking in your cheeks like you just ate something sour). Try L'Oreal Feel Naturale in Charmed Peach http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/de鈥?/a> This will help compliment your eye and hair color.

OR

To complement your eye and skin tone, and accentuate your lovely cheekbones, try Maybelline Expert Wear Duo in Siamese Pink http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Face/B鈥?/a> and apply the darker color just under your cheekbones, and the light, shimmery color on your cheekbones.

8. I really like the shape of your lips, so try Maybelline LineStylist lip liner http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Lip/Li鈥?/a> in a shade that matches your lips.

9. I would recommend a peachy lipgloss. You have a lot of options, so check out the following:

Maybelline Shiny-Licious Lipgloss in Pink Sorbet or Melon Ball http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Lip/Li鈥?/a>

Covergirl Wetslicks Lipgloss in Peaches And Gleam http://www.covergirl.com/products/produc鈥?/a>

Sephora Brand Super Shimmer Lipgloss in Apricot Souffle or Sugar Coat http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>

I hope I helped!Good makeup for me based on pic? (brands too) with pics here!?
For eyeliner: Me being fair skined as well, we have to watch what color eyeliners we use. Like black is way to hars. I would try a brown/black eyeliner from Prestige (Can be found in drugstores) $6. Also I would try a liner/eyeshadow in metalic blue, This will make your eyes pop! Try maybelline cool effect cooling shadow/liner $7 at the nearest drugstore.

Mascara: I can't recommend anything besides Lash Blash Mascara from Covergirl. This mascara has a brush twice the size of other brushes so your eyelashes are twice as long and have twice the volume.

Eyeshadow: I would try lighter colors to brighten your face, and keep your look sweet while complementing your eyes. Try light pale blues, light pinks, light greens, or gold. Don't try greys, black, dark purples, dark blue, forest green etc. It may look to harsh.

Foundation: Nothing is better then covergirls foundation products! There powder truly dosn't clogg my pores and there foundation is so light I feel like Im wearing nothing at all! Also try almays bronzers. They will give your skin a little glow. Apply it on the apples of your cheeks.

Blush: Try a light pink blush, it will keep your face fresh and sweet. Also try a liquid peach blush, it will make your complexion glow.

Lipgloss: Pale pink lipgloss, peach or a tan. I recommend Loreal Paris Colour Juice sheer juicy lip gloss in Melon Punch or Maybellines wet shine diamond liquids.

Can makeup expired, specially bases and powders?

Yes, it does expire. Most of us are guilty of having old makeup that we use only now and again. I understand that soon all makeup will have to have expiry dates on. Best advice is buy makeup little and often. Also wash out any makeup applicators, sponges, etc, regularly, with a gentle detergent and warm water, and let dry completely before using again. Can makeup expired, specially bases and powders?
Yes, there is no guarantee it will work after the expiration date. Can makeup expired, specially bases and powders?
Sure, 6 months, heave out.
yes it all does.
Yes, the life time is different depending on what the ingredients are.
Yes, makeup does expire. Most makeup is good for about 3 months. If you're unsure whether or not your makeup has expired, your best bet is to replace it.
lipsticks and lipglosses do get expired.
It can lose effectiveness if it gets too old.
It gets bacteria in it, I found a compact when I was moving, favorite color sweet right! Oh no I opened it up and tiny little bugs in it. Eye make-up does the same thing! And facial make-up will dry out and get thick, plus the bacteria will cause acne and infections on your eyes. Look on the bottle some have expiration dates on them. The optometrist said through it out every 60 to 90 days.
bases and powders should be thrown out once every 6 months
Makeup will not lose its effectiveness, BUT the bacteria that gets on and in it when you use it can build up over time. Usually it's best to replace it after about 6 months. You don't want to get an eye infection or skin irritation from it. The point to makeup is to look a little bit cuter, not have a swollen eye or blotchy skin!
You want to change your makeup at LEAST once a year because they gather bacteria and also lose effectivness. You dont want a nasty eye infection.. yikes!

  • Should woman select there male counterparts based on their D.N.A makeup?

In certain species female select their mates carefully and for good reason. It secures that the next generation will be much strong and less susceptible to disease. Now do you think if woman selected their male counterparts on the basis of being able to know there mates genetic makeup and knowing there D.N.A (watch the movie Gattaca) do you think our species would have evolved better and faster. Now because we are emotional in this case we would look at the D.N.A makeup first than meet the gentleman vice versa for men seeking out woman.Should woman select there male counterparts based on their D.N.A makeup?
%26gt; Should woman select there male counterparts based on their D.N.A makeup?

To some extent. People who are heterozygous for a genetic disease should not marry others people heterozygous for the same disease (e.g. people heterozygous for sickle cell anemia should try to marry normal people, and not others who are also heterozygous for sickle cell anemia).

Of course, that would mean that people with Huntington's syndrome should never have children at all. My population biology prof suggested exactly that, by the way, as a means of curing the disease in one generation.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Horo鈥?/a>Should woman select there male counterparts based on their D.N.A makeup?
We already possess remarkably accurate methods of determining one's genetic health, it's called physical attraction and pheromones.

If we're going to do what you suggest why don't we just take the specific sperm and egg we want?
Physical attractiveness is the perception of the physical traits of an individual human person as aesthetically pleasing or beautiful, and can include various implications, such as sexual attractiveness and physique. What is considered physically attractive is dependent on universal perceptions common to all human cultures, and on cultural and social aspects, as well as individual subjective preferences.

Despite universally held perceptions of beauty in both genders, both heterosexual and homosexual men tend to place significantly higher value on physical appearance in a partner than women do. This can be explained by evolutionary psychology as a consequence of ancestral humans who selected partners based on secondary sexual characteristics, as well as general indicators of fitness (for example, symmetrical features) enjoying greater reproductive success as a result of higher fertility in those partners, although a male's ability to provide resources for offspring was probably signalled less by physical features. There appear to be universal standards regarding attractiveness, such that raters agree who is and isn't attractive both within and across cultures and ethnicity. Physical attractiveness can have a significant effect on how people are judged, in terms of employment or social opportunities, friendship, sexual behavior, and marriage. In many cases, humans attribute positive characteristics, such as intelligence and honesty, to attractive people without consciously realizing it. Physical attractiveness is distinct from sexual attraction; humans often regard children and young individuals鈥攂oth human and animal鈥攁s being highly attractive for various reasons, but without sexual attraction.

It also removes oil from ur skin so u dont hav 2 spend all day powderin ur forhead and nose. i tried covergirl clean makeup too, and i lyked it but the color didnt match my skin color as well. both rock my sox, so good luck!

Where can I find cheap water-based makeup?

I've tried to find a list online but I can't find any, I'd prefer if I could buy it at walmart or drugstores, I can't afford expensive makeup...I heard water based makeup is a lot healthier for your skin, and you can tell by if you leave it sit without using it for a while, if its oil-based it stays together, if its water-based itll seperate.

Also, if anyone knows any makeup companies that contain collagen in the makeup, list those too...I don't want to use it.

Right now I use covergirl and maybelline, and something different for mascara. Do those have anything I explained

    %26gt;choosing eyeshadow

Brown, apricot, purple, plum and forest green colors brighten up green and hazel eyes while you can add a touch of boldness to the face by experimenting with gold, lime-green, very light green and bright purple shades.

    %26gt;choosing eyeliner

Small eyes can be opened up by lining them with a dark shade that thickens at the outer edge of the eye. Under lower lash, line with a very light shade such as gold, silver and white. Deep-set eyes can be controlled by lining the upper lash line with pale shade that shimmers while the outer edge of the lower lash should be lined with soft and neutral colors such as gray or taupe.

To add brightness to the drooping and tired eyes, line the outer third of eye almost touching the lashes and sweeping the liner slightly up at the corner of the eye. There is a procedure that can define your eyes permanently called micro pigmentation, also known as permanent eyeliner. Here, an organic pigment is embedded beneath the skin using a hand-held device that punctures the skin hundreds of times per minute with a very thin needle and pushes the pigment into the desired location. This procedure is also used to shape your eyebrows, color lips and add blush to your cheeks permanently. It can also be used to wear a permanent eye shadow. However, as this procedure is more painful and costly, most women prefer to do makeup instead of going for permanent procedures.

    %26gt;choosing mascara

just some brown or brown black from Maybellines.

    %26gt;choosing lipcolors

clear lip balm is the best thing for everyday use while sheer application of a colored lip gloss on lips, cheeks and eyes looks quite subtle and sexy. Glitter lipsticks and lip glosses are for special events and funky night parties that highlight your lips immensely. There are lip glosses that literally make your lips plumper and appear fuller and much more luscious. A very light film of pink or red lipstick gives you the look of that carefree beauty that every woman yearns for. Become an attention-grabbing vampiress, who is hot and trendy these days, by using a blood red lip liner to make precise lip lines and apply two coats of lipstick of same color, blotting the extra oil in between with the tissue paper.

Lipsticks contain waxes, oils, pigments and emollients that one must pay attention to for a quality product. Wax gives shape and ease of application to the lipstick and often natural beeswax, carnauba wax made from the leaves of Brazilian wax palm trees and candelilla wax processed from the plant of the same name found in Mexico is used for the purpose. Oils and fats such as castor oil, cocoa butter, lanolin, mineral oil, olive oil and petrolatum are used in the manufacture of lipsticks. However, castor oil is the most common ingredient as it forms a shiny film after drying that does not smudge easily. Many lipsticks also offer aloevera, amino acids, collagen, moisturizers, vitamin E and sunscreen to keep your lips soft, moist and protected from the weather conditions.

    %26gt;choosing foundation

i would go with bareMinerals for you. closest to your skin tone. healthy for your skin, stays on in the summer through heat, water, and sweat. doesnt cake on or feel like it. very light.

    %26gt;complete makeup

To look beautiful, you need to understand your face, your best facial features, which can be your eyes, lips, cheeks and/or eyebrows and what suits you the most. Coordinate your colors beforehand and remember, bolder colors are for exotic looks only and can play havoc on your face, if not used expertly. The basic list of products that any makeup-conscious lady needs, includes:

    Blusher,

    Eye Shadow,

    Eyebrow Color,

    Eyeliner,

    Face powder,

    Foundation,

    Lip brush,

    Lip liner,

    Lipstick,

    Mascara, and

    Moisturizer.

We will define the steps for daily or simple makeup here. For details, you can refer to our article for that particular product:

Moisturize your face, especially people with dry skin.

Apply foundation that matches your natural skin tone for a smooth skin effect.

Apply powder for that flawless look to your face and matte down any shiny areas on your face. Gently tap the powder pad on the back of your hand before applying it on the face to shake off any excess powder.

Blush adds color and freshens up your face instantly. See 'Applying Blush' for more details.

Pluck your eyebrows, apply eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara and do eye makeup very very carefully. If you are not confident, leave this part out completely.

Classic, tried and tested natural/neutral color combinations are best for eyes, unless you are quite an expert.

Define the lips using the lip liner and fill up the lip color using the brush.

You may use lip-gloss too for a sexier look.

A tinge of shine powder can instantly transform you for that evening party.

It is always good to be aware of the latest trends and fashions in makeup and being innovative and creative to have a distinctive style of your own helps too.

    HOPE i HELPED!! %26lt;3
I wouldn't do dark eyeliner all the time. I think a smoky deep plum eye, dark plum blush, and a plum lipstick would look nice on you.
i would og no eyeliner with your beautful eyes ..you wanna concentrate on your big eyes on this...i would use black mascara but no clumps! even if it means spending some mula$$!! preety much ANY eyeshadow color will go good with your eyes!!=]
    golden eyeshadows

even purple shades can work relly well on your eyes but LIGHT purple

after eyeshadows, just draw a thin eyeline along your eyelash bases

    then wear mascara(recommend dior's)

it'll open your eyes MORE than EVEr

    promise

    mascaras are amazing

wearing a think eyeliner will juist make you look...blunt and dark and it doesnt bring out any features

but by using mascar and eyeshadow

it highlights areas you want to

and dark eyeliners deepens your eyes

but mascara POPS your eyes outwards
Greens, purples, peaches. Dark makeup is not for you. Apply a deep green eyeliner on your bottom lid and a peach eyeshadow.
your skin color is kind of light so use some blush make yours cheeks stand out more. making your jaw line stand out more. mascara. if you want to look diff. during the day just do mascara and no eyeliner your eyes are pretty without all the eyeliner and at night when you go out apply the eyeliner so you can see the different.

go to mac to find nice color eyeshadows you could always use two colors. lipgloss. is good too .
    To start, i want to let u know your hair style suits your face perfectly. But if u want to find a way so that u can accentuate and display your features more here are some things i recommend doing;

1.Tweeze/wax your eyebrows to give them a better shape and definition

2.Play up your eyes with preferrably blue/gray tinted eyeshadows that have matte or glossy finish, along with black eyeliner of course

3.You could try wearing either clear or pink lipgloss

Professional Makeup Company based out of Hollywood, CA??????

Hi, I have a very specific eyebrow pencil that I bought 3 years ago (I bought like 5 of them because I can never find anything that works well enough or looks natural), and it's by a brand called ';Professional Makeup Company.'; It has silver writing and the logo is just a big silver M. I've tried looking in all sorts of stores and online, and I cannot find this brand ANYWHERE. Do you know what it is, where to find it, or what is something comperable? I'm looking for a very natural eyebrow pencil in an almost-black, very dark brown shade. Thank you!Professional Makeup Company based out of Hollywood, CA??????
i think its max or something like that...i think i saw it at walmart once

What kind of makeup should I wear...based on picture?

If you can't tell, I'm very pale.

I've never worn makeup. What colors/types would look good with my face and skin tone?

Especially to bring out my eyes...

help me all you experts! What kind of makeup should I wear...based on picture?
Not a whole lot actually babygal - just a bronzer fro light coloured skin, get a little something to groom the eyebrows, Bobbi Brown do some great gel eyeliners that you apply with a brush - one of them lasts for ages, and the colours are fantastic.... smokey blues and greens, smoky violets. They would all look great on you.

A bit of light lip gloss and you are done - you are a pretty girl and dont need a lot of embellishment. What kind of makeup should I wear...based on picture?
wow your skin is so clear im jealous!!! i would just keep it natural brown eyeliner and mascara pink blush and pink lipgloss is all you need :)
    aww your very pretty

try wearing a light foundation probably MAYBELLINE - Dream Matte Mousse ivory not that you really need to you have a good complexion .

Next a little bit of blush on your cheeks

the easiest blush to apply is the MAYBELLINE- Dream Mouse Blush a great colour for you would be 01 Dolly pink.

To ';bring out your eyes'; try wearing a neutral light brown or pink eye shadow on the base of your eye lids then working from the outer corner of the top of your lids make a line of either darker pink or brown shadow.

Then use a BROWN mascara over your top and bottom lashes if you want them really big use an eye lash curler and put it under really hot water or a hair dryer before you use it .

To finish off and keeep you make-up on lightly brush your face over with powder make sure it's not too dark though since you have lighter skin.

    well hope that helps

    xoxoxo
some lancome bronzer nice and suttle some nice pinky brown lipgloss and some cream a brown eye shadow.. be nice and suttle you have very nice clear skin dont try and cover it up too much!! gd luk hunny!!
you know... I had a very hard time with finding the right foundation and/or pressed powder. Until one day I decided to go to M.A.C.

O.M.G! their make up is great. I love it.

You should do the same... I'm not saying ';go to M.A.C'; but go to a department store and try their make up. Since you HAVE NOT used make up. I don't recommend you to use foundation, just pressed powder (if you don't have uneven skin like me)

go for a more natural look. A litle bit of blush, some eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss and thats it. Now if it's to go out make it a more dramatic look. Hope this helped a little bit.
i know the products but i cant realy tell you coulors im not so good with that and i think its something you should experiment with it took me a while to find a color i liked to use ..but theres diffrent looks you can use ..i know alot of people who use MAC make-up products but those are expensive well i think so af like 30$ for one color ...so i just use what ever is in the drug store ...but there is some good make up videos on youtube
i would suggest very light make up..like lip gloss that is not all that shiny and on the rest its hard to say cause at lesast i wear diiferant deppending on what im wearing so my suggestion is walk up to the make up stand in the mall and let a pro teach and show how and what to wear.... But your really pretty all natural
you should whiten your teeth and then use blush a little powder. Also mascara and brownish black eyeliner to make your eyes pop.
blue eyes look good with neautrals like browns..and beige..which is ok for u have natural beuaty..shape ur eye brows...wear lots of mascara maybe some liquid eye liner blush and pale pink lip gloss..pencil eye liner on the bottom
browns, golds, pinks lilacs, pale greens look good on blue eyes
Hi, I agree with Sarah, you are so pretty and so nicely smiling, you do not need a make up at all, believe me!!!!
I think you're very pretty without makeup. Sorry, that doesn't really help. ;)

Usually if its water based it will say so. Check the ingredients list. Now days most liquid makeup is oil based. I use a water based formula from Maybelline. Its called ';pure. makeup';. Its reasonable priced and doesn't clog your pores. Plus they have a whole line of it to match most any skin tone. As for your eye shadows and mascara and lip products you wont find anything ';water-based'; unless you want to spend hours looking and tons of money. (Its usually extremely expensive) Powder eyeshadow instead of creams are a good idea. Some makeups will say ';noncomedegenic'; which means it wont clog your pores! keep an eye out for those! They are what you need! My dermatologist tells me to go for noncomedegenic and water-based products! Hope that helps!

  • For those who use mineral based makeup...question for you...?

Ok, so you've probably made a decision to use mineral based makeup due to skin sensitivities, wanting to use less chemicals, preservatives...What do you use for face cleanser %26amp; moisturizer? for shampoo %26amp; conditioner?

I have recently made a switch over to healthier choices %26amp; having hard time...I am currently using Kiss My Face Shampoo %26amp;Condit. %26amp; my hair is now dry as heck. I am using a coconut oil based soap with @ 6 ingredients %26amp; jojoba oil as moisturizer %26amp; my face is now dry as heck...Any suggestions? For those who use mineral based makeup...question for you...?
I use Everyday Minerals, which I love, and Philosophy facial cleanser and Cetaphil moisturizer. As for conditioner, I use Sunsilk and leave it in for about 3 minutes. Dove products are always good for sensitive skin, and Pantene is a good conditioner as well. Like a lot of us, you may have dry skin because of the cold winter weather. For those who use mineral based makeup...question for you...?
First I would read the directions on your conditioner again. I had the same problem with an expensive conditioner, but then I read the directions and it said to leave it on for one to three minutes.

Second, you need to find what works for you. Just because it is a fad doesn't mean it is for you.
I made the mineral makeup choice based on coverage and basically a desire to get away from liquid foundation.

I use Clinique face wash, and Aveeno moisturizer. I use Garnier Shampoo and Conditioner.
use refirm and renew apricot scrub and put lotion on your face for a while and it should go back to normal.

    :)
clinique for my face. thankfully i can use normal shampoo and conditioner so i use loreal vive pro nutri gloss.

You dont look like you need concealer or foundation so we can skip that part.

For eyeshadow I you'd look best in Mac shadows because from experiance, having freckles and wearing sparkly eyeshadow like Urban Decay's doesn't end up well. Go for a purple-y/brown colored shadow. For eyeliner I say go for what you have on there, whatever eyeliner you're wearing, keep that and for mascara, any kind of Clinique works wonders!
I think a good base such as Cover Girl, True blend would work quite well. And then they have bronzer to reduce the paleness and make you look more tan. Don't get a shimmery bronzer because it seems to have too much sparkle and make the tan look fake, be sure to even it out on your face well. I wear a lot of mascara and curl my eyelashes too, that would look great on you. Oh and if your out tanning don't bother putting on the bronzer and true blend, it also works as sunscreen. And in summer, don't bother wearing all the make up ;)

    Hope it helps !
I think you NEED to get some bright eyeshadow on!!

i think everyone should wear bright eyeshadow
You don't need makeup, darling, you're a lovely girl. Go natural.
really its all down to preference, find something you like using and stick to it. here is some of my experience with different brands:

    MASCARA:

i love bourjois maxi mascara extreame volumising length mascara, with this they never clump together. i have tried all the mascaras you can think of and this is the best by far.

when choosing a mascara, consider the types of mascara and select one appropriate for your lashes and the occasion. you have a choice of lengthening, thickening, long-wearing, conditioning and waterproof formulas, among others. for day, you might decide to add length, while a night on the town may require a long-wearing or thickening formula. for me, mac mascaras are the best as i like to add length to my lashes.

you didnt mention the natural colour of your lashes? if you have blond or red lashes, opt for brown mascara. darker-lashed women can consider brown for a casual look, and black or brown-black for more pronounced or dramatic lashes.

when applying mascara a great tip is to curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, it will make your lashes look heaps longer. remove the wand from the tube in one pull. pumping the mascara will push air into the tube, potentially drying out the formula and introducing bacteria into it.

begin with the underside of your upper lashes, moving the brush slowly upward toward the tips of your lashes. always hold the wand parallel to your eyelid. roll the brush slowly on the upward stroke to promote separation of the lashes.

allow the first coat of mascara to dry before applying the second coat in the same manner. use an eyelash comb to separate the wet lashes. also blot the lashes with tissue paper if necessary to remove excess mascara. use less mascara for the lower lashes. begin where the lashes meet the rim of the lower eyelid, and gently stroke downward. remove any stray mascara around the eye with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of eye makeup remover.

    FOUNDATION:

mineral make-up is great, i LOVE loreals true match minerals, i know its quite expensive but its really worth the money and that little pot lasts forever. it does reduce the ammount of spots you get as it doesnt clog the pores unlike most make-up. however, if you have dry skin it may not work for you. it can sometimes make dry skin look even dryer and a bit flakey. see if you can find sample pots (you can get these from alot of sites that ofer free samples) before you invest in a pot for yourself.

whatever mineral make-up you choose, allow your moisturizer to dry and absorb before applying your make-up, this may take a few minutes. always use a non-mineral, oil-based moisturizer that will not clog pores. if your moisturizer does not absorb into your skin, neither will your mineral makeup. use a setting powder as a base all over if you have oily skin...it will help absorb the oil naturally. mineral make-up should be applied in light layers. if you feel you need more coverage, keep applying light layers.

begin with clean hands and a clean face. then apply moisturizer appropriate to your skin type. let it set a few minutes, particularly if your skin is oily. camouflage under-eye circles and blemishes with concealer.

select a foundation that is appropriate to your skin type and the coverage you wish to achieve. the colour should match your skin, disappearing when blended well. shake the bottle well to mix the formula. or, simply open a stick or compact version. place a small amount of foundation on the back of one hand. dip your makeup sponge or your middle finger into it. apply to the center of your face: cheeks, forehead, chin. blend out to your hair and jawline until the foundation vanishes. pay special attention to blending around the nose, mouth and jawline. set the foundation with loose powder immediately following application.

or foundation can be spot-applied to the areas where you need to even out your skin tone. remember to set your face with loose powder after application.

if you can, i would definately reccomend getting professionally colour-matched at a department store. make sure to check the foundation in natural light though. select a formula that is right for your skin type. people with dry skin should avoid wet/dry and stick foundations. people with oily skin should look for formulations that are oil-free and will need to powder after applying foundation.

another way is to dot foundation onto your face and then blend using a latex sponge. these are quite cheap and can be bought practically anywhere. these sponges allow for a polished, natural look. if you are allergic to latex, try using a natural sea sponge.

remember, foundation does NOT have to be applied all over your face. just target the problem areas. if you blend properly and have a foundation that properly matches your skin tone, you will not look blotchy.

    LIPS:

the body shop do some great lipgloss and theyre really cheap too, that means you can buy more lol. they smell good enough to eat.

prepare your lips with a generous slick of lip balm in advance. nobody likes cracked and frayed lips, and in cold winter weather its important to take more care than usual. make sure that the lip balm has sunk a little before you go on to the next step, otherwise your lip liner won鈥檛 work.

get a natural lip liner, and carefully draw around the very rim of your lips. if you get a wobbly line, don鈥檛 panic, just carefully remove it and start again. when you have a firm line fill in the rest of your lips with the same colour.

then you can apply your lipgloss. again, keep the colour natural. forget lipstick that鈥檚 too dark or too light. one thing you鈥檝e gotta remember though, gloss looks better but doesn鈥檛 have the staying power of lippy. make sure you keep it in your purse and re-apply during the day.

then, if you want plumper lips, use your lip plumper. all you鈥檝e got to do, is dot a white shimmery product like eye shadow or an eyebrow highlighter in the very center of your lips. start slowly, and blend very carefully. what you are looking to achieve is natural looking shading, with your lip colour being lighter where your mouth opens. this will create the illusion of beautiful full lips.

    EYES:

    smokey eyes:

holding the skin of your upper lid taut, apply eyeliner from the inside corner of the eye outward. draw strokes into the lash line. the middle of the line should be a bit thicker than the edges. use a cotton swab (or your finger, if you're lazy like me) to ';smudge'; the liner.

dab an eyeshadow brush into a deep-hued eyeshadow and apply over the eyeliner to set the line. (blow on the brush first to remove any excess shadow). layering liner with a shadow is the secret to a perfect smoky eye.

blend shadow well, then follow with eyeshadow. colour should diffuse from rich and dark near the lashes to almost sheer as it extends to the crease.

    bold, dramatic eyes:

bold eyes are a dramatic choice for evening. try eyeliner shades other than deep black for a super cool look. you can use either a liquid liner or try the makeup artist's trick and use an angled eyeshadow brush dipped in a deep-hued eyeshadow. skip the pencil for this look.

holding the skin of your upper lid taut, apply the liquid liner from the middle of the eye to the outside corner of the eye. draw a second line from the inside corner of your eye, letting the two lines meet. the outer edge of the line should be thicker than the inside. if you have close-set eyes, avoid taking the line all the way to the inside corner.

    POWDER:

mineral make-up is great, i LOVE loreals true match minerals, i know its quite expensive but its really worth the money and that little pot lasts forever. it does reduce the ammount of spots you get as it doesnt clog the pores unlike most make-up. however, if you have dry skin it may not work for you. it can sometimes make dry skin look even dryer and a bit flakey. see if you can find sample pots (you can get these from alot of sites that ofer free samples) before you invest in a pot for yourself.

Where Can I Ascertain Details About The Demographic Makeup Of India Based On Religion??

I want to ascertain details about Indian cities and states and the percentage breakup of religious groups is...such as in Bangalore what % are Hindu, what % are Christian..so and so forth...please helpWhere Can I Ascertain Details About The Demographic Makeup Of India Based On Religion??
Given that Christians in India constitute only about 4% of the population and Muslims, about 14% of the population this points to a severe religious bias and discrimination. The local Christian percentages do vary. In Kerala Christians constitute around 19% of the population and in Tamil Nadu, around 7%. In Maharashtra they constitute around 5%.

    Religion in India

A number of world religions originated in India, and others that started elsewhere found fertile ground for growth there. Devotees of Hinduism, a varied grouping of philosophical and devotional traditions, officially numbered 687.6 million people, or 82 percent of the population in the 1991 census (see table 13, Appendix). Buddhism and Jainism, ancient monastic traditions, have had a major influence on Indian art, philosophy, and society and remain important minority religions in the late twentieth century. Buddhists represented 0.8 percent of the total population while Jains represented 0.4 percent in 1991

Islam spread from the West throughout South Asia, from the early eighth century, to become the largest minority religion in India. In fact, with 101.5 million Muslims (12.1 percent of the population), India has at least the fourth largest Muslim population in the world (after Indonesia with 174.3 million, Pakistan with 124 million, and Bangladesh with 103 million; some analysts put the number of Indian Muslims even higher - 128 million in 1994, which would give India the second largest Muslim population in the world)

Sikhism, which started in Punjab in the sixteenth century, has spread throughout India and the world since the mid-nineteenth century. With nearly 16.3 million adherents, Sikhs represent 1.9 percent of India's population

Christianity, represented by almost all denominations, traces its history in India back to the time of the apostles and counted 19.6 million members in India in 1991. Judaism and Zoroastrianism, arriving originally with traders and exiles from the West, are represented by small populations, mostly concentrated on India's west coast. A variety of independent tribal religious groups also are lively carriers of unique ethnic traditions

The listing of the major belief systems only scratches the surface of the remarkable diversity in Indian religious life. The complex doctrines and institutions of the great traditions, preserved through written documents, are divided into numerous schools of thought, sects, and paths of devotion.

I read that you can use water to thin out liquid makeup that is water based which of loreal is a waterbase?

is that true can you be able to use a water base thin it out and then use it to air brush ur face without having to pay for airbrush makeup cause it can get expensiveI read that you can use water to thin out liquid makeup that is water based which of loreal is a waterbase?
I wouldn't try it unless you know an expert who has told you exactly what volume of water to add. More than likely you will just end up with a foundation that does not adhere properly to your skin.

If you want a thinned-out foundation, combine it with moisturizer, not water. This will give you the moisturized, youthful look you're after. To increase the 'airbrush' effect, purchase a foundation that has a high water constituency like Maybelline Pure Makeup (50% water) or one that has an inbuilt moisturizer like Loreal Feel Natural Liquid (contains Vitamin E which softens and conditions skin).

Hope this helps :)I read that you can use water to thin out liquid makeup that is water based which of loreal is a waterbase?
You would think that would work, but for some reason it doesn't. Probably bc there are other ingredients in there that won't allow it to. When I tried it I ended up with a blotchy mess.

Use an oil-free moisturizer instead - that works.

  • If I put water based makeup on first then powder....would that save me form clogging my pores with powder?!!?

i recommend bare minerals foundation by bare escentuals, it doesn't clog pores, like most liquid foundations. it is the only brand recommended by the national skincancer foundation, because it is actually good for the skin. the 25.00 foundation lasts me about one year. check it out for yourself at any sephora, ulta, macy's, or nordstrom store, to see how you like it, before making a decision. If I put water based makeup on first then powder....would that save me form clogging my pores with powder?!!?
Powder usually doesn't clog pores as easily as liquid makeup can. Powder usually just sits on the top of the skin, while liquid foundation sinks into the pores a little bit. I wouldn't worry about it clogging your pores if you use oil-free makeup and make sure to cleanse your face and use a toner to take the makeup off at the end of the day. By the way, I use Bare Escentuals makeup. The entire line of foundations are mineral powders. These don't block your pores and will not cause blemishes. They are also really good for sensitive skin and many people say that it helped clear up their blemishes because of the minerals in them.If I put water based makeup on first then powder....would that save me form clogging my pores with powder?!!?
almost anything that is put on your skin clogs pores.. poweder is better though and washing your face at night to remove everything is the best solution

You should only use this makeup if you have very dry skin. If your skin is oily this will only encourage break-outs. If you have healthy, normal skin or slightly oily skin mineral makeup always looks best.

I have been reading alot about mineral based makeup. I would love opinions on how it looks and feels?

I use Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals and it's fabulous! It just dusts on and suddenly I look really good. It feels like it isn't even there. And it doesn't get gooey or itchy. It's a really good product. You can get it online at sephora.com
i.d.bare minerals is an excellent product and has a factor 15 sunscreen built in.
I used to use Bare Minerals until I discovered Arbonne. They also have a mineral foundation with SPF 15, but it comes in 15 shades for perfect match and that is what I was lacking from Bare Minerales. I love how it feels and looks and my skin never looked better.

    Water based stage makeup?

I am going to try to do kabuki style stage makeup using water based powder stuff. I am afraid it will sweat off. Will it? If so, any tips for keeping it thick and vibrant, and on my face?Water based stage makeup?
With an all over look like Kabuki, I would suggest using an oil based make-up. Water based tends to crack as it dries; increasing the itch. Maybe you could lotion your face first so that the water doesn't go directly into your moisture seeking skin?

Again, I wouldn't suggest using water based for an all over the face style.Water based stage makeup?
Water based stage makeup is not a good idea, other than sweating it off, it can make your face look shiny from the audience. Which I can say is very distracting. You should try something else, depending on what you're going to do. I you want something very vibrant, but comes off easily after a performance, try acrylic paint, but don't use it on your eyes.
Never used water-based-powder. I thought it was a greasepaint that was used.

I would think that you should powder before and after to try and keep it in place. I would suggest rehearsing makeup prior to performance to give you some experimentation time.

thats if you have a yellow undertone though.. some people who are light skinned have a pink undertone.. and darker skinned people have a red undertone.. so it all depends on complexion.. if your medium skinned brown to tan then you probably (like me) have a yellow undertone so that will require you to have a yellow based foundation.. MAC sells great foundations for ALL skin tones.. i use it and its great!..

Why would any self-respecting person want to be the beneficiary of a set-aside solely based on genetic makeup?

(affirmative action)Why would any self-respecting person want to be the beneficiary of a set-aside solely based on genetic makeup?
Affirmative action is like any other movement based upon class envy and/or racial foundations. For at one time there were social barriers extant in the make-up of dominant social powers in everything from employment prospects in the private sector to various positions in the government that prevented equal opportunities to the underclass (or in this case, blacks). The disproportionate composition of those who held positions of power within organizations (and their opposition to give blacks promotions due to racial considerations) merited a program of reform that forced the issue - at one time.

But like any movement, in time people percolated up and seized the momentum generated - once legitimate - to take it far beyond what it required to redress the situation in real terms, carrying it to the height of absurdity by raising the bar to such an extent that it reversed their plight from one of disadvantage to one of advantage over others, a form of reverse-discrimination such as that applied to college admission practices currently. There was no shame in accepting positions based upon affirmative action when the playing field was clearly so heavily inclined against hiring and/or promotion that a person of color could not gain access. What Martin Luther King dreamed of was not to have blacks and/or other minorities dominate others, but be afforded equal consideration in order to prove what he knew inside ... that color had little or nothing to do with ability ... character did. But character was not being evaluated in his day due to social stigmas that existed. In my view, we have reached equality in terms of opportunities available to all regardless of color, etc. and affirmative action has fulfilled the purposes of its implementation completely at this point. It is therefore no longer necessary. What people have done (or not done for that matter) with the opportunities is not something that should be granted as a given. It is equal access that was the problem - you cannot make equal outcome a guarantee no matter what you do.Why would any self-respecting person want to be the beneficiary of a set-aside solely based on genetic makeup?
Because it gives him some sort of advantage? Given a choice between relatively easy success and starting at the same level as all your competitors what do most people really choose?
It certainly has dumbed down our colleges. I guess that's why we can't get enough doctors, scientists , and engineers from our own educated.
Any advantage is just that, an advantage.

How can I make my brown eyes look greener based on the color of clothes i wear and makeup?

If you have greenish tones in your eyes, green shades in eye makeup and clothing may bring it out.How can I make my brown eyes look greener based on the color of clothes i wear and makeup?
I am not sure if your clothes will make a BIG difference. Mine are naturally a green shade with a brown rim. I noticed that if I use a somewhat neutral pink eye shadow with a SMALL gold line towards the edge of my eyes, it really makes them pop. Also, I would use a green eyeliner by the gold line too. Basically, a small blended line on the top lid (opposite the tear duct). Also, sweep your mascara in a horizontal motions, not strictly upwards. This will create an illusion of a larger eye which in turn creates the eyes to pop. Hope this helps. How can I make my brown eyes look greener based on the color of clothes i wear and makeup?
well go to a eye dov and get likt e blue green red and that i got it
no wonder 30 plus something guys tend to like you, why not just instead of worrying about brown to green eyes; use your eyes reading good books so you canl learn good things
Deep purples and lavenders are good for dark eyes and bring out any green you may have.
they have colored eye contacts, get the green and then u got wut you want!!!
How about just wear green contact lenses?
To make green eyes pop, use a shadow from the opposite end of the color wheel. http://northlite.50megs.com/ps/images/color_wheel.gif

I have green eyes and to make them stand out and look their greenest I use a light shimmery white base shadow all over my eye (from brow to lashes) I use a plum colored shadow in the crease and on the lid. A nice thin line of plum eye liner on the bottom lash line really brings out the eye.(use a Q-tip to smudge in) To top it off a thin line of white eye liner along the top lash line really makes your eyes look big and wide open. Try that! I get compliments on my make up all the time.
If they're hazel-ish, I can help, if they're straight up dark brown, contacts are your best bet.

I have hazel eyes, and I have found that using brown shadows really brings it out...NOT green! Next to a true brown, my in-between colored eyes look more green. I like Brun and Tempting shadows by MAC...Brun is a dark, matte brown and Tempting is a bronzy color. Their PowerPoint Eyeliner in Bountiful Brown is great too.

As for clothes, if I wear a shirt that is just a little greener than my eyes, that brings them out too.
i have brown eyes too and when i use a turquoise or dark green eye liner it makes them look greenish. this may sound weird but it works for me.
yeah i agree with them... the only way is to wear a green contact lense... brown to green is difficult to achieve.
You probably have hazel eyes like mine. If you Get the 4 eyeshadow in one compact from REVLON (http://www.revlon.com/product.asp?Produc… in ';spring moss';. It helps me.

Also RIMMEL has a compact with 2 eyeshadows in an army green (?) that also works good.

I think playing around with eyeshadows and blending them together with your fingers still looks more natural than creepy contacts.

In makeup terms, what is a water-based mixing medium?

I was online looking up eye makeup tutorials, and one described using a water-based mixing medium on the eye lids before applying shadow. The one she was using was sheerly pigmented, and was shimmery. Where can I find something like this? Brand and name of product would be really helpfull. In makeup terms, what is a water-based mixing medium?
Per an entry I found on Live Journal.com, ';you can buy mixing mediums in MAC pro stores, most people use the water based mixing medium... myself, having no PRO store in my county, has to work with a homemade mixing medium which is three parts water to one part glycerin. :) it helps the pigments go on brighter/stick better';.

Hope this helps...if not, check the Mac Cosmetics website, looks to me like you're describing a primer of sorts.

    ----

In light of your update, I'm not sure...sorry.In makeup terms, what is a water-based mixing medium?
    You could try this site:

    http://community.livejournal.com/mac_cos鈥?/a>
you're probably describing a ';primer';. it helps your shadow to ';hang on'; to your skin.

mac sells primers for eye makeup. they also sell something called ';paint';. i sometimes use it as a primer for eye makeup. it applies creamy but dries powdery and comes in a variety of colors. i use a light, shimmery, peach/pink tone. i can use it alone as a shadow as well as a primer.

How do i make a water based medium/ mixing medium for makeup?

i know its made with a couple water drops and glycerin, but where do you purchase glycerin and how much do you mix with the water? How do i make a water based medium/ mixing medium for makeup?
I know that glycerin can be bought from rite-aid, so try there.

if you can't get to a rite-aid try looking around your local drugstores to see if they stock it.

or you could try ordering some online.

to make a water based mixing medium I mix 1 part glycerin with 3 parts water.

edit: make sure you make your mixing medium in small batches, as you are not putting in any additives, so your mixing medium won't keep as long as a store bought one would. I'd say mix it in either drops (1 drop glycerin to 3 drops water) or teaspoons (1 teaspoon glycerin to 3 teaspoons water.)

hope this helps! How do i make a water based medium/ mixing medium for makeup?
You can get glycerin at drugstores I believe and when you make the mixing medium it's 3 parts water to 1 part glycerin (so if you're using teaspoons it would be 3 teaspoons of water and 1 teaspoon of glycerin). And remember to shake it up really well. Good luck!

  • Is oil based makeup best for summer?

Good to wear when it's hot? If not what do I wear?Is oil based makeup best for summer?
    no

try and use mineral make up

the oil will slide off when you sweat and it'll clog your poresIs oil based makeup best for summer?
    Hi there,

Because the face sweats in the heat, an oil-based make-up will just give you a perma shine and slide off easily.

Your best bet is too use a moisturiser based or water based make-up.

A good tip is to set it with a brush of light powder and afterwards, blot your face very lightly with a moist sponge. The water on that will help to set the make-up. I also blot my eyeshadow with a damp make-up sponge and it stays in place all day!
usually wearing oil based makeup is worse in the summer do to the fact that youre sweating more and your face creates more oil on its own. you should go with mineral makeup, deffinently. its healthy for your skin, great to wear in summer, prevents breakouts, evens your skin tone.. its great :)
I think, oil based make- up would be the worst choice as sweat and oil will make your skin look bad. But, mineral make-up is the most suitable for summer. Hope to be helpful.
    Definitely not! Wear powder
    absolutey no

Makeup Q: will a primer/base help with my foundation problems?

So my skin is combination/oily and I have redness.

    very embarrassing.

I wear Revlon colorstay foundation which I love, but I notice that in areas where I need more coverage, the foundation turns an orange-y shade.

    not cute.

I read online that this is caused by oxidation of the foundation and that a primer can help me with both my skin probs and the foundation problem.

Will a primer be my lifesaver?

I have oily skin and I am very fair. I also have redness.

Can anyone recommend a good primer/base I can use?

    or perhaps a better foundation?

I am in college and broke so it can't be more than 10 dollars and must be available at target, walgreens, rite aid, etcMakeup Q: will a primer/base help with my foundation problems?
Try Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation instead. You can buy it at Walgreen's for about $7.99. It's creamy and easy to blend, and it gives full coverage that looks natural. It doesn't rub off on your clothes and it controls shine too. You won't need a primer with it. I own many foundations, some of which are very expensive, and Rimmel Lasting Finish is better than all of them. If your foundation is turning orange on your skin that's because you are wearing the wrong shade. Since your skin is fair, you should wear the lightest Rimmel shade or the next to the lightest shade, even if one of the darker ones seems to match your skin better. The reason for this is that foundation gets darker when it mixes with the air and with your skin's natural oils. If you buy the foundation at Walgreen's and you don't like it, they will let you return it, no questions asked.

My concealer is oil based, and it clogs up my brush. How can I clean my makeup brush off?

What can cut through the oil? Its a brand new brush- meant for applying concealer evenly, really good quality. Unfortunately my concealer is oil based rather than water based and so the brush doesn't wash clean with water. How can I clean off the brush so it doesn't get ruined? Thanks for your help.My concealer is oil based, and it clogs up my brush. How can I clean my makeup brush off?
You could get a makeup remover from any popular makeup counter or you can use what's already in your shower.

True you can get a baby shampoo but if you already have shampoo for normal hair then that will work perfectly.

Just rinse the brushes in warm water, then work the shampoo into the bristles and rinse clean. Do this until the water from the brush rinses clear. Leave the brushes to air dry on a towel so they do not lose there form.

I recommend washing your brushes out weekly to be on the safe side since you use oil based makeup this way you don't risk clogging your pores. My concealer is oil based, and it clogs up my brush. How can I clean my makeup brush off?
go to sallys and ask one of the girls for brush cleaner products. they have some really good ones i use for my m.a.c brushes.
run some water into the sink, and add some face wash, baby shampoo, or any gentle soap that you have available. also add a small amount of makeup remover if it doesn't work without it. swish the brush through the soapy water and clean it with your fingers until most of the makeup is gone. try not to mess up the bristles. when you're done, drain the sink, then run the brush under some water to remove the suds of soap. squeeze out any excess water from the brush in the direction of the bristles. pat dry with a towel, then lay it down and let it airdry overnight.

There is a video on how to do this on this link:

    http://www.expertvillage.com/videos/make鈥?/a>

the link might not work, but you can always just go to the website.
Try cleaning your brush with baby shampoo . Its a cheaper alternative to buying makeup brush cleaners and it works just as well.

Are SPF's in sunscreen and makeup additive in protection? ie sunscren 30+ base 10 + powder 10 = SPF50?

    I dont think so.

the SPF number refers to how long you can be in the sun without burning

for example, if you normally burn after 30 minutes of exposure and use an SPF 10 (30minutes x 10spf = 300 minutes) you could be in the sun for 300 minutes without burning.

so i think after an amount of time the lower SPFs would stop working and the highest SPF will still be functioning as it would if there were no others.

I'm not 100% sure on this, I don't remember where I heard it.

Do makeup products need to be thrown away based on when it was opened or when it was bought?

I know that products like mascara, eyeshadow, concealer, foundation, etc have a specific length they last but say for example mascara lasts 4 months. Do I throw it away 4 months after i BUY it or after i OPEN it?Do makeup products need to be thrown away based on when it was opened or when it was bought?
It's definitely after you open the mascara. Once the package is opened, air and bacteria enter the tube, which is what can later cause eye infections. But when the package is unopened, you can keep it for as long as you like. :)Do makeup products need to be thrown away based on when it was opened or when it was bought?
The ';shelf life'; begins 4 months are you OPEN it. When you open it and use it, so comes the bacteria and germs that begin. But if you're product has an expiration date, that's when your product expires. In that case it doesn't matter if it hasn't been open and used yet. Good luck ^_^
The date that you opened the product is the date you should base the expiration date on.

  • Do you use a chemical based skin care and makeup, or do you use a botanical skin care line?

I've switched to a botanical skin care and makeup, and it has done wonders for my skin which has been damaged by the sun.Do you use a chemical based skin care and makeup, or do you use a botanical skin care line?
all natural and organic, Juice Beauty is my favoriteDo you use a chemical based skin care and makeup, or do you use a botanical skin care line?
    botanical - NOT chemical
i make my own soap and it is really good for my skin
I believe in non-toxic cosmetics our skin is our largest organ and its porous surface means that whatever we put on the outside is absorbed and passed through our blood stream and organs.Toxic chemicals can wreck havoc not only with our skin but with our overall health.I frequently visit a website which rates the toxicity levels of cosmetics and personal care products http://www.ewg.org it lists the safer products out there.Another good book for reference is 'The safe shoppers bible.Botanicals such as herbs, natural extracts, vitamins, minerals and fruit acids are very good and healing for our skin, but just because a product is labeled natural or botancial does not make it chemical free, that is why reading of labels and understanding of ingredients are very important for any savvy shopper.
l use the all natural stuff, i love it.
    I prefer botanical

Any makeup companies sell products based on cool/warm skin tones?

I have a cool skin tone. Was just wondering if I could buy makeup based on that.Any makeup companies sell products based on cool/warm skin tones?
Try L'Oreal True Match. :DAny makeup companies sell products based on cool/warm skin tones?
I know L'Oreal True Match has blushes that pair with whatever foundation you wear, but as far as eyeshadow or lipstick, you won't really find anything that matches to skin tone because with eyeshadows and lipsticks, there are a lot more factors that go into matching than just whether you're cool toned or warm toned. Good luck!

  • Base for eye-makeup? MAC paint or primer?

Hey, I have oily eye-lids and sometimes my eyeshadow creases in hot weather. Somebody told me to use MAC paint in 'nude' as a base to stop the eyeshadow from 'slipping'. Is this a good idea or would primer be better? I am in my twenties.

Thanks鈥︹€?.Base for eye-makeup? MAC paint or primer?
yes i use it! wow how much do we have in common LOL

its a great product, I have it in ';bare canvas'; its great, makes eyeshadow last longer and makes your makeup look professional

    Toushka

Edit I meant MAC paint in case u didnt get it!Base for eye-makeup? MAC paint or primer?
use monistat chafe relief powder gel, it's cheaper and works good at setting your makeup. I use bare minerals and it works to keep your skin shine free for hours. Report Abuse

Use the primer, in the meantime apply powder foundation to your eyelids. I have oily eyelids as well and bought a cheap($6) eye shawdow base at long's drugs. The cream one works the best. You apply let it dry for a bit and it lasts a 8 hour work shift. I use it with lighter colors and they show up on my darker skin beautifully. I get so may compliments. Good luck.
do u use mac colors already? i have oily lids and when i used cover girl, thats where my shaddow would end every single time, now i use mac with no primer and its pretty good, if u use the primer, pretty much u will have perfect eyes all day or so i hear. mac kinda leaves a wound on ur wallet, but its so worth it!!

    Water based stage makeup?

I am going to try to do kabuki style stage makeup using water based powder stuff. I am afraid it will sweat off. Will it? If so, any tips for keeping it thick and vibrant, and on my face?Water based stage makeup?
Wash your face first, use astringent and then put on the makeup. Then make sure you powder it and use a setting spray (ben nye does make one). If you are doing any strenuous activity in it it probably will sweat off still. If that is the case you are better off with old based. If you put some cold cream on your face and rub it in before you use the oil base it will come off much easier.Water based stage makeup?
I swear ONLY by oil-based products, I get too hot too easily on stage. However, I know that you can set your make-up with a sealent spray. I think Ben Nye has some, but I've never tried any other brand to give you a different reference. But since you are using a powder base, that's prolly the only way you can get it to set without running the colors.
