im an expert on foundation! You name it, iv most likley tried it! lol. finding the right shade, coverage and still looking natural is a nightmare!
the best foundation i have come across is by clinique:http://www.clinique.co.uk/templates/prod鈥?/a>
I have been using it everyday for a year now, its light but gives total coverage along with looking natural! it comes in lots of different shades soo it can match your skin tone compleatly so you wont get that nasty orange line by your neck.
Its really beautiful and i totally reccomend it! its a little expensive but it lasts for ever and i think it would really suit you by the sound of it! Its oil free, which your be glad to know, as it means it won't clog your pours leading to breakouts!
This is the perfect foundation, give it a go! you can't miss out. Also if you dont want to rush into this go to your local clinique and ask for them to give you a colour match and some free samples!
hope this helpedx
Ladies please help me with finding the right base makeup.?
First of all, make an appointment with your dermatologist; and if you don't have one, find one and call them. With your skin condition, I don't think you should be wearing makeup. The best solution is to treat and medicate your acne rather than covering it up. A lot of makeup actually worsens acne, as it clogs pores, even if it says it doesn't. Once your acne has gotten a bit better, I would suggest that you go into a department store such as Sears or The Bay or Macy's or anything, and find a makeup brand that you like. Ask one of the people that work for the makeup company to point you to a foundation and coverage that would be good for you. Don't expect to find a perfect shade on your own. It's much harder than you'd think. Professionals can tell you what would work with your skin type and condition, and what will give you perfect coverage.
hi with your oily t-zone i recommend either a powder foundation or mousse stay away from liquid as it will cause more oil build up.
when looking for the perfect foundation colour match the foundation to your neck as you will blend it to the neck and stop the unsightly line that allot of people wear. go for more of a yellow tone than a pink tone as everyone has yellow in their skin but not many have pink tones.
with your scars and blemishes use yellow concealer on your dark areas and your green on the red this will give you a 'blank canvas' for you to work on. when applying the foundation make sure you pat it on over your concealer not wipe as you will wipe the concealer off.
Concealer - Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer
It comes in what looks like lipstick, you swipe it on your red areas and spots and rub it in lightly.
Fondation - Rimmel Lasting Finish
This is in a squeezable see through triangler tube.
It is water resistant and oil free.
This really covers up redness and helps your skin look spot free.
These two together are probably the best I have ever used.
It looks natural and you only need to use very little!
i found the concealor stick true match from l'oreal, and foundation and powder , the mineral kind from mabelline works wonders for covering spots...good luck
i bought acne free from walmart and its the only one that has worked to prevent new breakouts...
Well I love love love Rimmel london lasting finish mineral powder foundation. I also have acne scares current acne and my face has red areas. also not very expensive about $6.00
well actually I do have the same skin but I don't have any acne because i use clean and clear deep cleanser For makeup though I use mineral foundation sorry
I'd use Benefit Playstick Foundation. If you want your makeup to go on better or need more coverage you should dampen the sponge or makeup brush you're using!!
Revlon Colorstay covers well and lasts all day, but you have to use a cleansing oil to remove it.
TruBlend and TruConcealer
both are covergirl
Bare minerals is perfect for you youtube it
there are some mineral bases..
but they are really expensive
try marykay or mabelline powder stuff. i like it cuz it conceals my pimples. :]
