Am I right to say that primer and makeup base is the same thing? My question is:?

I wanna achieve a natural look but i have pimple scars, I read somewhere that you have to use a primer or makeup base to achieve the natural look plus u need a good concealer to cover up the marks. Is there a better/simpler way to achieve a natural look?Am I right to say that primer and makeup base is the same thing? My question is:?
I don't really use any primer or make up base. Yes, just like you, i just want things to be simple and natural.





If you're skin is acne prone, stay away from oil-based products.


Here's what you do for natural look make up:





1) Oil-free Concealer- green color can neutralize the reddish color of scars and pimples. Yellow or skintone for eyebags.





2) Oil-free Pressed powder (for everyday use) and oil-free mousse foundation for occassional use.





3) Oil-free blush/bronzer powder/compact- liquid form may wash out your concealer and foundation/pressed powder.





4) Lip gloss!
