What is Perfection makeup base?

well my mom bought this thing from Sephora and its a perfection makeup base. can you explain to me what it does. Does it like help cover up? and i have acne prone skin so is it not a good idea to use it...like will it clog pores or make me break out?What is Perfection makeup base?

Sephora`s Perfection makeup base evens and smooths the skin, prepping it for an application of foundation that lasts longer than if you apply it directly onto the skin. It's infused with pink pearl protein to enhance skin tone and smooth the skin in preparation for makeup. If you apply makeup directly to unsmooth or bumpy skin it can smudge or become uneaven, which is often the case. Basically, its main function is to `help cover up` uneaven skin and what not to provide a good firm base for makeup. It is allergen free and has an inherited aerating trait, meaning that it won`t clog pores or cause any ill effects if used on acne prone skin. My cousin uses this stuff raw without putting makeup on top of it, and her face look like one you`d expect to see on a bloody bewitched crackwhore.. Don`t use it on its own or in thick layers!! It`s fine so long as you put makeup on top of it and use it in the thinnest layers suitable for you. It`s a good product, but beware! Well it should be okay since it's from Sephora, depending if it's liquid of powder, if you're prone to reactions from make-up, i don't suggest using it, but usually you rub it on, or brush it on before you put on eyeshadow or blush or any other make-up to make it look smooth and natural looking....that stuff usually makes my skin dry unless it's water based...but it really depends on you.

Its basically a foundation and YES it definitely clogs pores (most foundations do). Remember to remove all your make-up at night so you don't break out the next day. If you have acne prone skin, just wash your face everyday with whatever product you might have to help with break outs.
