The skin under my eyes has some areas where the skin feels like crepe paper with tiny wrinkles. The foundation I am using now tends to cake and emphasize this area even more, even when I use a moisturizer before applying. I'm wondering what other women over 50 are using that they like. What is the the best base/foundation makeup for women over 50?
If your sin is crepey, you want to avoid powder mineral makeup, it will just make it look worse. I have been reading amazing reviews about the new liquid foundation from Elizabeth Arden called Intervene http://shop.elizabetharden.com/product/i鈥?/a> I have seen some Before %26amp; Afters ... and I want this foundation although I am only 34! Here's one review http://dailycookie.net/2008/02/18/review鈥?/a>
Make sure you are always using a moisturizer and an good eye cream before applying, otherwise it will go blotchy. What is the the best base/foundation makeup for women over 50?
try using a smoothing primer under your caking foundation. or just switch to powder.
The older you get the lighter the foundation should be. One you might love is Make Up Forever Face and Body foundation. Go to Make Up Alley, sign on and read the reviews of this first. It's amazing stuff. That's what I use and I'm in my 40's.
Ok I'm not 50, but my mother in law is and she love Arbonne! At first she did not what to even try it but since I was selling she said mail it to her only after a day or two she called me up and told me to order a bottle! She love it!
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
OK just because you over 50 doesn't mean you have to start wearing thicker foundation. You should always enjoy putting make up on not a daily war mask routine because your worried what people think of you without it.
Teenage to middle aged skin benefit cosmetics is there to help all those pesky problems whether it's crows feet to wrinkles or that odd blemish.
It easy to start caking your skin in make up so i definitely recommend

Try using a eye uplifter cream/ Gel (Discover Origins revolutionary approach to de-ageing skin around the eyes, It also helps if you have dark circles)(maybe Avon) put this on before your foundation, This works pretty well and as for foundation, Go to body shop and you can get a free makeover,A new look, They will help you find the best foundation for your skin and match with your skin tones.
Hope that helps you sorry if it was not much help,
Stop using that brand of liquid make up. Try another brand.
I am in my late forties, and I have fallen in love with mineral makeup. It applies differently than conventional makeup because of it's consistency. It lays over your skin, and doesn't settle into lines.
There are a lot of products out there, but I prefer something that is pure and natural. I am using kms mineral essentials. These products are absolutely wonderful, and I have had confidence that I never have before. It's like I never lost the skin I had in my late twenties.
Definitely kms mineral essentials!
none granny you are 50!!!
