Makeup base?

I am using Clinique's set of facial products. I am wondering whether I can use other brand products as the makeup base before I put on the foundation? Or is it that I have to use a product from Clinique as well?Makeup base?
i use afterglow loose foundation power, its fantastic, you can buy it on amazon.com, or at sephora for 24.99!

I don't know if that is a good idea. I used one brand of moisturizer and another brand of makeup, and my face reacted like no other. It became very irritated and itchy. I couldn't use either product for a week. Try it in a small part of skin for a couple days, like the back of your hand. If there is no reaction, you should be good.
That's a good one, but the best one is the maybaline new-york foundation, it's lightweight. not thick or greasy and it's smooth on your skin. also if you have sensitive skin this is best for you. but good luck!!!
You can use whatever you like. I can't use Clinique, somethings in it that I'm allergic to.
It doesn't matter what brand. In fact I mix my brands of makeup because I like different colors that not all brands offer.
